We’ve picked the best of the best in the local (and international) industry, and are driven to create fun, jaw-dropping content for everyone. We don’t usually do client work because we like to focus on our own content. This means we write, plan, shoot, edit and ultimately produce all of our own stuff in house. This gives our team more opportunity to channel their inner creativity and enjoy their jobs more. Less “sick time” is being used for some reason.
We’ve mainly been focused on our latest project, “Green Hawk Platoon“, which is our upcoming FPS/TPS video game title, featuring little green army men.
Working for RetroPixel isn’t like any other studio job out there… it is a small, core team of extremely talented individuals and creative minds.
We’re also at the forefront of the new and exciting world of Virtual Production, using Unreal Engine. Working with companies like Epic Games, Movella (Xsens), Manus Meta, AMD and many more, we’ve been able to keep on top of the latest trends and use the latest tech, in order to bring you original, quality content. We’re pushing the limits and playing around with new workflows, custom hardware rigs and procedural software applications, and working hard to see what this technology really can do!
We love to teach, train and inspire others, so we have started to release tutorial videos on our YouTube channel, started a podcast and video series on Virtual Production, called ‘Cookies 4 Breakfast’, and even started LinkedIn group for filmmakers and VP artists in Vancouver, BC.
